Cooperation Agreement between the School of Law and King's College, London

Cooperation agreement to achieve an LLM from King's College and a single-cycle five-year degree from Bologna School of Law

Alone of its kind in Italy, the Bologna University School of Law has entered an innovative cooperation agreement with King’s College, London, reputed to be one of the top world universities.

Under the agreement (in which Professor Lucia Serena Rossi acts as Bologna’s reference person) 12 students enrolled on the Single-cycle five-year Law degree programme at Bologna may attend the fifth year at the Dickson Poon School of Law, London, where they will take three annual exams, present a long dissertation and attain the qualification of LLM (master).

On their return the exams passed in London will be counted by the School as replacing the optional exams on the Italian schedule, while a translation of their dissertation may be used to prepare the Italian degree dissertation.

The Agreement holds obvious advantages for the students who may thus gain both qualifications in a five-year span, saving a whole year. They will also save part of the London enrolment fee, and receive subsidised lodging in London.

To apply to join the programme, read the instructions on the selection Call.

The call expires March 31, 2017

The selection interview will take place on April 19, 2017 at 10.00 am
